I have used the attached adaptor for the Danfoss RA radiator thermostat. When trying to fully close the valve, the radiator still remains hot. It looks as though the valve drive does not fully close the valve.
The valve drive may not adapt correctly or it may not be possible for the valve to fully close for mechanical reasons (deposits, etc.). The amount marked between the contact area of the adapter and the valve tapper in the following image should be 13.5 mm for an open valve and be 11.5 mm for a closed valve (valve tappet fully pressed in).

If the dimensions are correct, the malfunction may be due to the drive not being correctly assembled or it loosening from the union nut.
If the dimensions do not match, the adapter may not be fully mounted. The adaptor must be slightly bent and fully snapped on.
If this is not the case, the problem can be solved by adding a 5 cent coin between the valve tappet and the drive.
