The exchange of device data between the smartphone app and the radiator thermostat is performed via Bluetooth®. Using the Bluetooth® function requires activation of the location data when using Android devices. The smartphone app does, however, neither read not evaluate these data at any time. When using the radiator thermostat with BLE, no personal data is collected, processed or transmitted to third parties.
The Eqiva Bluetooth® - Smart Radiator Thermostat replaces conventional radiator thermostats and offers demand-based regulation of the room temperature, enabling users to save up to 30 % on their energy costs. With maximum ease of use and constant temperatures, the radiator thermostat increases the living comfort at the same time. Due to the integrated Bluetooth® module, operation and configuration can be done not only on the device itself, but also via the free smartphone app. With an activated Bluetooth® connection, up to ten rooms can be comfortably equipped with up to five radiator thermostats each. If several thermostats are used in one room, you only need to grab your smartphone and the temperature selected in your app is automatically adjusted to all Eqiva Bluetooth® - Smart Radiator Thermostats. Furthermore, individual heating profiles with up to seven switching times per day can be defined for each room. And rooms are heated only if its really necessary. The included operating lock avoids that your settings can be changed by unauthorised persons. If the boost mode is activated by pressing the control wheel shortly, all radiator valves are opened to 80 % for a period of 300 seconds. Thus, the room temperature is heated quickly. If you are not around for awhile, the holiday mode reduces the room temperature to the previously selected eco temperature. The integrated frost protection function makes sure that the temperature of the room does not fall below 5 °C. For installation of the low-noise thermostat there is no need of draining any water. Also, no expensive special tools are required.
